Payment, Refund, Reschedule and Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all guitar lessons, mixing, production, and related audio services offered by RyanKochMusic.com. By booking or purchasing any service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

​1. Payment Requirements

    Guitar Lessons

• All lesson fees must be paid in full at the time of booking or according to any payment schedule provided.

• Lessons are not considered confirmed until payment has been received.

    Mixing and Production Services

• Full payment is required upfront before any work begins unless otherwise stated in writing.

• Projects will not be scheduled, edited, or mixed until payment and all required files have been received.

 

2. Refund Policy

    Guitar Lessons

• Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

• Prepaid lesson packages are non-refundable once the package has begun.

• Refunds are only issued if RyanKochMusic cancels and cannot provide a rescheduled lesson.

 

    Mixing and Production Services

• Because mixing and production require significant preparation and time investment, payments become non-        refundable once work has begun.

• If a client cancels before work begins, a refund may be issued minus any administrative or project-setup costs already incurred.

• No refunds are given after project delivery.

 

3. ​Rescheduling Policy

    Guitar Lessons

• Lessons may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

• Lessons canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice cannot be made up.

• If the student is late, the lesson will end at the scheduled time and will not be extended.

• ​If the instructor must reschedule for any reason, a makeup lesson will be offered at no additional cost.

4. Mixing and Production Revision Policy

• Each service includes the number of revisions stated in the package description. 

• Additional revisions, alternate versions, or major creative changes may incur additional fees.

• If submitted project files are incomplete, corrupted, or require significant cleanup, additional charges may apply.

• Delivery timelines may be extended if files are delivered late or require correction.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

    Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information and fully prepared project files.

• Communicate changes or needs clearly and in a timely manner.

• Ensure minors participating in lessons have parental or guardian consent and supervision when appropriate.

• Adhere to all payment timelines and service policies.​

 

6. Service Refusal or Termination

    RyanKochMusic reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel services if:

• Payment is not received -

• Files or content violate legal or ethical standards

• A client engages in inappropriate, abusive, or unsafe behavior

• A minor participates without required parental or guardian approval

    In such cases, any refunds or credits (if applicable) will follow the policies above.

 

​7. Policy Changes
